For the past 26 years, Steve Flowers has performed as a flutist in the classical and jazz fields. Playing the flute, piccolo, bass and G flute shows Steve's intensive training and education as a musician. Earning his Masters 'Degree in Music Education, Steve is employed by the Chicago Board of Education as Director of Instrumental Music. Steve has performed the National Anthem for the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers. Steve was also a finalist in the 1995 Hennessy Jazz Festival.
